Because I'm nice, some things I am able to share:
*There are more mountable Pokemon in game, and they do not replace HMs, the bike or roller blades. They are only mountable in certain areas and cannot be your own Pokemon, however. Each has a unique field ability (like how we've seen Skiddo jumping ledges). Other mounts include Tauros, Donphan, Lapras (for faster surfing), Mareep, and others.
*The Elite Four are unconventional types: Steel, Flying, Grass, Water. They also can be battled in any order again...
*Fairy-type matchups were meant to balance the game: it is strong against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting; is resisted by Ghost, Fire, and Steel; it is resistant to Fairy, Dark, Fighting; immune to Dragon; and weak to Poison, Steel, and Ice (reflecting mythology about fairies' weaknesses being sensitivity to cold, poison, and cold metal)
*No other type changes occur. Shucks. That said, Poison and Steel climb through the ranks easily. You will want Poison-types on your team this gen, as its gotten the same attention Bug did last generation.
*Pokemon Amie is HUGE. It not only gives your Pokemon random endures and boots to evasion and crit ratio, but it increases their EV gain and time for breeding. Also, having Pokemon with high happiness in your party now affects a "team rating," which increases the chances of good things happening to your Pokemon in battle. The more cohesive the team, the more luck you will have. You can turn this all off in Wifi battles.
*Sylveon evolves through Pokemon Amie, but so do all the other old Happiness Evolutions. Trade evolutions can be done in-game now as well through Pokemon Amie so long as you meet the requirements.
*The photo taking tool in this game can be used to create wallpapers for your PC.
