Hi hello,

I'm a new denizen of 4chan though I usually stay on the "DIY" board.
My Granddaughter is having her birthday coming up soon and my wife had gotten a Nintendo 3DS and a "Pokemon Black" game. Now I am concerned about the safety of such an expensive console and from what I have found I think a zip-locking cover case would be best and I have found such an item (Link below). My request is that if anyone is able to help me find one of (Link below) with a "Pokemon" design.

That won't protect it while she's playing it. I suggest getting one of the Nerf armor cases, that will protect it at all times, especially from falls.

guess how long it took for me to demolish it?
never, I fucking babied the shit out of it and still have it to this day. The only thing that did break was the battery case hatch tab, but that's because I was cramming in so many batteries back in the day (you don't have this problem with modern day DS)

as for your case dilema
you wont find that one with pokemon designs, so you have 2 options
>google "pokemon 3ds hard case" and get something you like
or
>buy that one and buy some pokemon patches or something to sew/stick on

make sure you dont buy a normal case for a 3dsXL or vise versa

OP, have you tried looking on Etsy? They have a ton of covers and handmade pokemon themes ones. Just search something like "Pokemon ds cover" an you'll be sure to find something.

Costs less than a case, ensures in 1 or 2 years you get a free new 3DS, and if you're feeling particularly sassy you can even choose a different color.

I normally NEVER buy those things, but for a HANDHELD being used by a KID for a device that historically has a new model replace it every so many years that the company will be forced to upgrade you into, this shit is fucking worth it.

Don't forget to hit your wife for not buying a pro plan.
