No, because I'd use it anyway.

But I do like a lot of Pokemon with lower BSTs

Mawile
Chatot
Mothim

I'm just not one of those people who insists on having 6 Pokemon with 500+ BSTs and worries about repeating types

Mawile was always that Pokemon, but now Mawile is actually useful. I'm not sure if the mega evolution is good for Mawile or not.

Another one of those Pokemon is probably Jigglypuff. Same in Brawl, I'd use Jigglypuff if her moveset didn't suck so much.

Agh, too many for me. Way too many. Some I just never got around to using, because I've got others I'd rather use, or they're hard to train/find/get. Or I was going to, but then something happened (like a shiny) and I ended up replacing them.

Butterfree and Xatu, neither learn a single decent special air type move.

Golurk, just too slow to work in a playthrough.

Shedinja, too easily beaten. Maybe if focus sashes regenerated after a battle finished it would be usable in a playthrough.

He can take a hit from a Flying type better than Heracross, that's for sure. And he's not weak to Psychic.

Bugs didn't become good until X-Scissor was introduced in Gen IV.

Teach him Rock Tomb and you're golden.

I will take this advice, anon. I mostly wanted a bug type move because of the Mossdeep Gym in particular. Someone on my team will probably have crunch or surf so the point is moot, anyway. Pinsir looks like a bro, anyway.

All of those have rather good stats AND movepools. I don't know what you're talking about. And the rest of the ones you listed are perfectly usable in-game.

Bronzong is actually pretty decent. I use one defensively on one of my teams since it has great typing and decent bulk. Also, it can set up SR.

In Coliseum it was my main Pokemon after my starters for the main game. I can't remember how it was able to do it. I guess because it was backed up by other Pokemon since they were all tag battles or there were a lot of steel types

Arbok's usable now. Gen V gave him a give from the lord almighty with Coil. Raise the power and accuracy of Gunk Shot with a neat little boost to defence. You can also slap on Sucker Punch or an Elemental fang.

Frail, but by no means unusable.
