In B1/W1, Opelucid City looks different and has a different gym leader depending on the version. The top pic is from Black (Drayden is leader), while the bottom is from White (Iris is leader).

Did anyone else (who isn't dyslexic) misread his name as Adler the first few times? I honestly didn't figure it out until I heard it in the anime, considering Adler is a name I'm familiar with while Alder is... not.

I mean it was meant to be the same time, but White Opelucid City was what it was like in the past and I suppose we could just pretend with our shitty headcanon that Black was a parallel universe where N wasn't born for a few hundred years...

I was also thinking you can see the differences with the version exclusives too. Like in White, things are more natural, so there are more flowers around (Petilil) and the eagles haven't gone extinct (Rufflet/Braviary). In Black however industry boomed along with cotton (Cottonee) and the eagles went extinct and the vultures are around wearing their skulls (Vullaby/Mandibuzz).

Just a thought.

Except that's not what the trick was at all, idiot. You were supposed to either trade a pokemon with cut over from another game, lose a battle on the ship after getting cut, etc. to get back in there once you've got strength.
