Y'know, speaking of which, it's kind of shitty that they're only giving us the one Blazikenite from the distro. They specifically said it won't be available in game. Unless GF got lazy and are later horrified to discover that they left in a special item debug that allows you to get any amount of any item in the game or the stones can be used more than once (which they won't be), then I might store that precious Blazikenite to use in Z/remakes/Gen 7.

doubtful. I think they are a hold item like life orb or an item like that - not a consumable. if blazikenite is not found in normal gameplay they wouldnt have an event that only give you one that can only be used in one battle.

why? that's so cruel. not like you have to use it as your main powerhouse, but straight up dumping it is mean. besides, in-game, starters (and pretty much every pokémon) are perfectly fine for battle.
