I'll start: I like them from a lore perspective. I know one of the most common argument against them is that they're useless and they are just pokèdex filler, and I can see where these people come from, but I value immersion over powerplaying, and few good design over a shitload of shitty ones (not to say that hasn't happened, but I don't wanna make this 3d into a genwar).
I do think methods of obtaining them should be retconned, though: what's the deal with holding an item when breeding? Screw continuity! I hope gen 6 can pull that out, but I wouldn't get my hopes that high.
Finally, pokèmon that I believe deserves a baby form:

seeing what they did with its mega, they really have no excuse

for cuteness
>shared prevo to heracross and pinsir
