What does /vp/ think about Pokemon Conquest?
OP is a faggot and can't tell himself, I've played like an hour now and it seems okay, not nearly as good as the mystery dungeon games though. Your opinions?

Don't get too attached to everything you build. You're playing through the however many hours tutorial at the beginning of the game. After you beat it, your save data becomes "deleted". However, individual characters keep their pokemon after everything gets "deleted".

Afterwards, it's a ton of other missions with different objectives, and the enemy becomes a lot more aggressive.

It was a decent but forgettable turn-based strategy game that had pokemon in it so it would make more money. Nothing really bad or good to say about it.

The best thing about it was that it turned out some nice alternate sprites for the mon it featured.

Being a slobbering whore for anything Tecmo-Koei, I enjoyed this game immensely.

But again, I buy every Dynasty Warriors game. Despite the fact that they come out as often as Madden does now.

A turn based strategy game with Pokemon sounds like a pretty cool idea but the concept here is flawed. It would have been a lot more fun if the Pokemon could use more than just one move. I love the idea of building your own badass army of Pokemon that isn't just six Pokemon you carry around with you, but it just wasn't well executed here IMO. Gets repetitive too if you use just one team, which is what I did. Still a decent game nonetheless, I beat it and most of the post game episdoes.
I DIG the art style in this game and all the emotions and expressions the people and mons make in a visual novel-esque sort of way.
Fun game and interesting but flawed concept overall. Seriously, giving the Pokemon more than just one move to use could have expanded the possibilities and WAY more fun. Guess the limitations of DS memory couldn't handle it.

I fucking lol every time I see Terrakion's AQUA FRESH smile for some reason. Picture related.

This. There were a ton of Pokemon that were fucked over like Raichu only getting Volt Tackle, Ampharos Thunder and Lilligant only getting Petal Dance.

And some moves were broken as hell like Fire Spin when you're at a high level.
