>>13607819I actually also take a page from this and nicknamed alot of my Pokemon based on bands, and sometimes Stand references. My Espeon in HG is named Queen after the stand Killer Queen. Other times I use a musician's name, like Halford for my Metagross.
After I exhausted a lot of my music knowledge I turned to references to old movie actors. My Tyranitar was named after Klaus Kinski, for example. Other times I use books, tokusatsu stuff, mythology for names.Or something that just sounds cool.
Also, I nickname all my Charmanders I breed as trading foster, "Charmaster", because that was the cleverest thing when I was 7, and I like the idea of someone around the world using "my" Charmander.
