Paras is my favorite Pokemon ever since I learned about it as a child watching the anime.
I loved his big eyes, his oversized front legs, the colorful mushrooms on his back.
As a result, in any game where it was possible, I would catch a Paras and raise it to a Parasect, making sure that it would be an integral part of my team.
I only really looked into the biology of Parasect until very recently, and I learned that I had inadvertently killed my best bro about five different times
