The male in D/P/PT is pretty cool, acts selfless and doesn't afraid of anything. I'm also a fan of Cheren and Bianca from B/W because they put a pretty interesting spin on things even though Bianca doesn't really do much actual training. I find Gary from Gen I pretty fun to hate, too.

May and Wally from Gen III are fucking terrible.
