That's debatable as well. You could even say Steel should be inmune to electric, as they are not damaged by it.

but if you delve deeper youll understand that the mechanic involved with the nervous system and pain is that pain is an indicator as to when damage is occuring to the victim's body. If a very light punch hits you, y oure unharmed and it does not hurt at all. However, if a hard one does, then it does hurts. Just like a weak fire would not damage steel at all, and thus would not hurt at all.

You still feel the sensation of the punch regardless if it 'hurt'. 'Weak' fire still gets it hot, and the Steel Pokemon would feel that.

Reminder that the type weaknesses are supposed to be shit that kids can get quickly.

It isn't supposed to be explained with some deep rooted science explanation. Kids are going to think, Fire melts Metal, Fighting bends Metal, Water puts out Fire, Grass does whatever to Water(it just seems like it'd work), Fire burns Grass, Psychic beats Fighting, etc etc

Some of the typings don't make sense if you want to go all Science major on people, but it's supposed to be face value shit so it's easy to understand.

Weakness to electricity in pokemon seems to be based on how well they conduct it.

Water is weak(yes I know pure doesn't conduct but you're everyday water does) to it and grass resist it.

Steel is a good conductor so why isn't steel weak to electricity?

top kek m8, teh conductors are generally copper, the solder on the boards is lead, the boards are silicon. That being said a computer is not unharmed by electricity, you can create short circuits and fry the entire motherboard with easy. Getting hit by a large enough jolt in the right spot will toast the thing.

It's true that not much steel is used in electronics for non-reinforcing purposes, but the "Steel" type is more like the Metal type in general. There are 18 Steel-Type moves, and only one has the word "Steel" in its name, while 3 have "Iron" and 3 have "Metal". also, Ferroseed and Ferrothorn's names are references to Iron, both in English and Japanese, same thing with Bronzong.
