I know that it'll never happen, but wouldn't it be great if GF made Colosseum or Gale of Darkness for the 3DS? I mean, it's never going to happen, but if it did, do you think that anything would be different (other than the smaller screen and graphics)?

Remade? They might as well just make a new game.

Consdering Colo and GoD were made for consoles (as in "we need a Pokemon presence on our console), porting/remaking these for handhelds make little sense. X and Y cover that nicely.

At best, they'd port it to Wii U's eShop, but considering they don't support 3 generations, they'll just make a new one.

I doubt they'd do a direct port, they'd probably want to update it because little Billy would be confused by the mechanics.

Then again, why pay someone to update it when they can just port it?

I don't know, can they even fit a whole GC game on a cartridge yet?

I'm playing Colo right now, and it already seems like I'm blasting through the game. Is it relatively short compared to most other Pokemon games? I've never played it before see.

Also, on topic, I don't think they'll ever remake or re-release Colo or GoD. They're not even prepared to release R/B/G/Y on Virtual Console. Also like anon said, if you're going to port the game why not just make a sequel. But then why even make a sequel for such a one-off series this long after the original release.

Yeah, it's a lot shorter than the other games. The extra modes are pretty fun and the story isn't too bad though.

That's true, I'm just not sure if it'd garner the same following, not being a main series Pokemon game to begin with. It just seems unlikely to me, could be wrong.

is Gale of Darkness at least a little bit longer?
I'm enjoying the world (albeit Rui, Rui everywhere I turn), but the lack of trainers to battle without progressing through the story is a little infuriating, I just wanna de-Shadow my homeboys and homegirls.

You'll be able to re-battle any normal trainers that you see throughout the story. Gale of Darkness is a lot longer though, it also has a bit more story to it (and more pokemon).

I'd prefer an XD sequel rather than a remake. A lot of good games make up a trilogy and I feel that Orre deserves one. It would actually make me seriously consider buying a WiiU earlier
