I have never been competitive at all. I've only played for fun. For the first time ever, I want to join a local tournament. It's in two months. I am not sure I have a real hope of training in time. I know if I do join, I will have a Vaporeon in my time, for personal flavor.

I know to go to Smogon to go by their rules, I guess. Do I even have enough time to make a decent team?

If so, other than the Vaporeon, I have no idea what to use. I am used to sweeping, so I have no real idea how to utilize proper strategy. It's embarrassing to admit this, even to myself, since I've played since Gen 1.
