So all the people who were farming for a shiny (eevee) to transfer over to X&Y can't do that. I find that funny. It's time wasting anyway.

Additionally, these last-minute dragon events are likely to unlock some feature when transferred to XY. Just look at the last Gen 4 event: Shiny beasts and Celebi, all which unlocked something.

The only reason why you wouldn't be able to transfer is if they reworked the IV system and made old Pokemon incompatible, which judging by EVs still being the same but now getting better recognition for being a load of tedium, I'd say they won't get a change either.

The difference being that the legendary beasts were marketed to do something in HGSS, whereas the dragons are not.

But yeah, transferring is probably going to be in. I'd be shocked if it wasn't.
