The only 'hard' part I found about it was gaining XP compared to other games. It seemed like wild Pokemon were giving shit for XP. I'd kill a wild Pokemon and gain like 500 XP then kill a trainer's Pokemon in the same area and get like 3000 XP. I don't know, maybe I was just doing it wrong.

I agree gaining XP sucked. It didn't seem as easy to grind as it was in say, Emerald.

If you were killing things several levels higher then you it was a fucking walk in the park. If you try to grind then the exp returns are shaved down hard.

I noticed in b/w2 that i was getting paralyzed or poisoned every battle. Its why i never got past the end, it just got to annoying along with the lack of exp gain
