Here's a little story:
>go to gayme stahp to buy B2 a day after release
>take little brother with me so I can buy him some games, like I had promised
>best friend tags along because, homie for lyfe
>get Lego Batman 2 and Lego Star Wars on 3ds for my little brother
>girl attending me is a 8.5/10
>while buying games, I say
>"Do you guys still have any Pokemon Black 2 copies left?"
>"Yeah, we sure do. Interested in adding it to your purchases?"
>"Sure, why not. Please"
(I bought B2 a day after because I wasn't sure if I was going to get it. 2nd time I thought about just quitting.)
>"you know, we have this book, it's like a pokedex with all the Pokemon and stuff"
>"oh that's cool, no thank you though"
>"It's pretty awesome really, it has all this info on Pokémon"
>Tried to conceal my true power by looking like a casual player, but couldn't
>"Look...don't take this the wrong way, but I've been playing Pokémon since it began here in US. I'm not one of those people who are over the top with this but...i honestly know everything there is to know about Pokémon"
>"Oh, the game is for you!"
>I just smile/smirk
>buy shit and head out, me and friend laughing while saying shit like "yeah bitch! I learnt pokemans in da street, shiiiiiet"
>as I'm getting into vehicle, that girl runs out of the store
>"hey! Come here"
>"What's up?"
>"I don't want to sound dumb but, I thought it was kind of cool how you're just comfortable with telling someone random, especially a girl, that you still play Pokémon. Well..h-here's my number.."
>"Oh, well thanks. I'll call you later ok?"
>never call her because I was dating someone at the time
I stopped going to that GS because I feel like shit for never calling. And if I were to talk to her, I wouldn't want her thinking I'd only be doing it because I'm single now.
