Hey /vp/, i need some advice. I´m in the progress of breeding an all around useful team to fight some friends and maybe randoms, and i need some input of good Pokemon that are good to use and not THAT hard to breed.

So far i got

-Multiscale Dragonite (Is Salamence much better?)
-Ferrothorn
-Scizor

The IVs aint perfect, but i got 31 in the important stats and not so bad ones in the other.

What should i get? pic related? I have 3 more spots

I just dont want to breed for hours just to notice that I´m missing essential things like fighting coverage, rapid spin or whatever.

Then add some different Pokémon to the rest of your team and see what kind of stuff you need to prepare against.

Definitely Politoed, Drizzle and therefore permarain is an excellent ally for Ferrothorn and Scizor who both have a double weakness to Fire. Also, Hurricane and Thunder with perfect accuracy to your Dragonite. Then just add some Swift Swimmer and a Ludicolo with Rain Dish, Leftovers, Leech Seed, Protect and Giga Drain, that shit is annoying as fuck.

Does Politoed require any egg moves to be useful?
Also, my Dragonite has shitty sp.Atk, i´d rather use a physical move set.

I´m now torn between the sand storm set and the rain set..

Nah, Politoed's primary job is to set up rain. Surf, Ice Beam and Hidden Power Grass offer a perfect coverage and that's pretty much everything you need. A physical Dragonite doesn't really serve any purpose in a rain team since it doesn't really get any profit from the rain. In fact, it's just more vulnerable to Swift Swimmers who carry Ice Beam.

Alright, how do i go about breeding a drizzle politoed? I already have a female drizzle politoed, if i pair it up with a ditto, all the Poliwag don´t have swift swim, which they need to have in order for politoed to get drizzle, right?
