I have the red Gyarados, shiny Dratini, shiny Gible, shiny Haxorus, and shiny Dialga. The only shiny I've caught "legitimately" is a Patrat I got while EV training for attack and speed. Was kind of disappointed, but he still has a very special place in my heart.

Also, someone here gave me a shiny Exeggcute on Easter years ago that they claim was legit. Even if I don't believe that, I still own at least one legit shiny that wasn't Lake of Rage'd, chained for, RNG'd, Pokegen'd, Masuda Method'd etc. Deal with it OP.

I must be the luckiest person ever, or I just play way too much. In gold version I caught a golden goldeen, then in crystal I got a shiny igglybuff (or was it cleffa?). Later in sapphire I caught shiny zubat and clampearl and then Ruby gave me a shiny cascoon. Havent gotten any shinys since though.

My first shiny (not including Red Gyarados) was a Woobat when I was playin through White the first time.

Then one day, about a year later, I found a shiny Patrat, and then about 30 minutes later, fished for a shiny Remoraid. I shit you not.

First shiny I saw was a zubat in Emerald that I didn't catch because I didn't have any pokeballs on me at the time. Second one was a gloom in the same game (I actually caught that one) and my third was a shiny snorunt that I randomly hatched in Black. In addition to those, I've cloned my friend's shiny mightyena in Emerald so I have a few copies of that and a friend of mine gave me a bunch of his shinies from his Platinum version.

I got a shiny Magby from the egg the daycare centre guy gave me in Crystal. Other than that I've had two different shiny Oddishes on two seperate save files. Never hunted, I just come across this motherfuckers. Wish I could transfer my Magby over to X when it comes out though ;_;
