'Sup /vp/.
Is there a point to me buying this, considering I played the first Black to completion?
If not, what other games would you recommend to help the wait 'til X and Y come out?

Aside from the story being pretty lackluster, B2W2 are probably one of the greatest Pokemon games released in terms of content, available Pokemon, and post-game.

Platinum is pretty good too, fixing most of the errors in DP.

Think about this, OP: is there any point to playing Yellow, Crystal, Emerald or Platinum if you have played RB, GS, RS or DP to completion?

I enjoyed it. Regional dex now includes some of the older Pokemon and is now 300 Pokemon-strong. There's a lot more things to do post-game and you get the other dragon. Some of the legendaries from older games are back. There's achievements and you can use another repel without going back into your back. I don't know what else to tell you.

I wasn't really a fan of the story, but for some reason i've played this one the longest. I guess my main question is if the sequel is different enough that I won't feel as if I just bought the same game.

It won't feel the same, but that's only because of the gym changes and the story. If you don't care about those, don't bother.
