Did you have a heart attack when it appeared?

First and only shiny was a whismur in the the Rusturf tunnel. I love Hoenn and Exploud so I'd be happy with that.

I caught a shiny Doduo in the Safari Zone as well, it was frightening but I just had to come to terms that it was all up to luck, so I just chucked balls and sure enough, it worked.

Venonat in Sevii Islands. I guess that's cool. I'd prefer my second shiny, a Squirtle from Johto.

Traded that shiny Venonat to a friend a long time ago because he liked Venomoth. Later found out it spent its entire life in a PC box without being used, then got traded to someone for an event-only legendary. Wish I'd kept it, but I hope its happy with its new trainer, wherever it is...
