This just means pokemon with like 255 in every EV or shininess/IVs that don't match with the personality value.

Pokemon which are well-generated are indistinguishable from real pokemon, so I guess this would lock out a lot of shitty overpowered things made by 12 year olds.

What im more pissed about is that they gonna take an "ansual fee" for using this service, and that it is an add-on app for the 3DS and not integrated into X/Y.

I did some quick calculation and they could probably fit every Pokémon from every buyer of X/Y into a home-NAS-system with money they might othervise use to wipe their ass with.

I fail to see how this is anything other than a good thing. I'll pay the fee once and then never have to use it again after the first year until gen 7? I'll fill up my Kalos dex, have all my old bros (granted I'll have to breed because I wasn't so autistic that I had like, bulbasaur, ivysaur and venasaur, I just evolved the whole line once and kept venasaur, for instance) and if I need new ones I can just breed and super train them.

I used Pokegen in late Gen 4, I made sure they were all legitimate and I transferred them all into Gen 5. if I were to transfer the Pokemon from Gen 5 to Gen 6 would the data that showed I used Pokegen still be there? or would good hacks been it's undetectable?

you still have to be 1000% sure that your upload isn't illegal, which is something you don't have to do when RNGing.

Not because I have a lot of generated lvl 100 with perfect stats, but because I hacked them all in Platinum and then transferred those to Black and White.

I completed the dex in every gen, and when I did in Pearl I sure as fuck didn't want to transfer ONE BY ONE to Platinum, not to mention, I didn't have them all with me since some evolved to get the dex, and getting another egg would be a pain in the ass. And I didn't even bother with HG/SS.

If they would've added the function to transfer ENTIRE BOXES since gen 4 at least, then I wouldn't have cheated that way.

It's pretty much what Box and Ranch was to gens 3 and 4 but you have to pay a small fee because cloud storage.
There's another feature that allows you to transfer from gen 5 but it's free.

The checks will be for things like Ribbons and maxxed EVs which are obviously illegal. I doubt they'd even check for illegal moves. I don't think they'll remember event pokemon like Wish Kangaskhan existing.

For instance, I have a Togekiss with 31 IVs in four stats and 29 in the other two. It's completely legit. Are you telling me they won't let me send it simply based on the IVs? I'm aware there's more to it (e.g. the PID) but it concerns me that they'll half-ass it and base their assumptions on the IVs alone.

Either way, I shouldn't have any issues since all the Pokemon I give a fuck about are legit.

Something like that could've been bred legitimately, so you can't tell assuming there are no errors in the PID.

I think you guys are severely underestimating the power of Poké Transporter's hack detector.

GameFreak is aware of how rampant hacking is, and realized that a simple moveset and EV check is not enough.

In addition to obvious things like illegal moves and excess EVs (>510 and >255 per stat), GameFreak may start checking for these:

>Invalid or missing terminator sequences of the Trainer and Pokémon names
>Missing or incorrect trash bytes
>Missing or incompatible Secret ID + ID
>Missing or contradictory PID
>Hacked strains of Pokérus
>Mismatched language
>Mismatched Version
>Invalid Encounter type
>Invalid or missing hex values
>etc.

Hopefully GameFreak will be able to delve deeper into the data of a Pokémon.

if you used an AR code that let you nickname Pokemon that aren't your OT (but you still went to the name rater npc) it should still be good. If you used a program to directly edit it, it may not be because of trash bytes. Upload it to PokeCheck if you want to be sure.
