Lati@s is currently a 30% 2HKO with rocks damage, without rocks it's 3HKO, but that's very close. Any increase in special attack turns that into a 2HKO, as does rock damage on the lati's
Heatran is 14% 2HKO by Focus Blast. And special attack boost will guarantee that 2HKO
Now let's look at the return damage
Hippowdon, if it carries stone edge/rock slide, does OHKO. If not, it's a 6HKO, but it does usually carry WW/Roar.
Normal Politoed is 3HKO on Charizard with scald, Char wins.
Tentacruel is a 4HKO on Charizard. It wins but loses over 50% hp
Heatran is 81% to 3HKO, Charizard wins.
Lati@s is OHKO with Draco meteor and wins.
There are a few counters, but only tentacruel takes less than 50% damage as a result. An increase in Charizards special attack, which is confirmed as coming only leaves Tentacruel standing with even over 25% hp.
