I may use a kanto starter alongside Froakie just because of the mega evos. Using 3 starters is retarded though, particularly since you can only have one megaevo on a team. Just use some new Pokemon.

Using the Bank you can pick a starter, deposit it, restart the game, pick another starter, deposit it, restart, pick the last starter, withdraw the other 2 and THERE YOU ARE with Froakie, Chespin and Fennekin. Before you had to ask some friend to help you with his game system and his catridge, now you can do it on your own and it is simple as fuck.

Why would anyone choose Squirtle?
Mega Charizard will be amazing with high Sp.Atk and Drought.
Mega Venusaur will be completely broken with high defenses and Thick Fat.
Mega Blastoise is ugly and has some dumbass ability, it's complete shit.
