>>13651292>1. Digimon evolutions sometimes had absolutely nothing to do with their base form (see Patamon > Angemon, for example);Sometimes, or do you mean most of the time? Digimon are basically glorified tamagotchi. Tamagotchi, when they grow, don't have to look identical to their base forms.
>2. evolution was dependent on technological devices or gadgets.Not. Digimon evolution depends merely on its own battle experience (Digimon Tamers made it anime-canon, and it was already game canon). The tech device was there for temporary evos, because training and raising a Digimon takes a fuckload of time.
>I can't explain why trading seems more "natural" than using a Mega Ring. The Mega Ring is not unnatural. What it does is to resonate together with the Pokemon's Mega Stone, and it happens because of the bond between the trainer and the Pokemon.
>Back in the day, choosing between Pokemon and Digimon meant a lot. Why can't you guys just chill and enjoy both? I've always enjoyed both Pokemon and Digimon even back in the day. Besides at the end of the day choosing between one or the other means nothing.
