Nope, which is better in my opinion because it allows the consumer to actually choose what they want to use without having to pay for the digital version ever if they're planning on using the physical.

Yup, they have two bundles but the only difference is the preloaded game, the 3ds is still blue.
But hey get a nicer(IMO) dull gold one with fancy art in black.

Alternatively, it would have been nice if Yveltal (or vice-versa) was the only one flipped so I'd be impossible to tell which side is up/down. Then it'd have a kinda Yin and Yang thing going on.

You can pre-order them now. They've been in the GameStop system for a while. If the employee tells you no- just say to go to upcoming hardware and it's one of the "available SKU" with two for the same price. It popped up the same time as the Windwaker Wii U.

Well.. for the PS4 and XBONE you can only reserve one per powerup rewards account. For these, I don't believe the restrictions still apply. Although, let me make sure for you. Because obviously they don't want one person buying them all and then reselling screwing over everyone. I'll get right back to you. I need to make a phone call.

ok. Sounds like you're good. You'll probably get the, "Uh... why do you need 3...." question, Just let them know you're buying for friends if that comes up. Seems like there is no policy against it though. Also, even easier if you're getting the two different colors because there's CERTAINLY nothing they can say about that.

Nah, I'll prob just buy a regular red/black xl as I don't have a 3ds at all atm, and pokemon y on release day somehow. (I live in a shit country, so I'm clueless if i'll be able to get it on release day at all.)

Ordered both offline from Gamestop this morning. They're being considered 'highly limited' according to the Pokemon website, so hopefully they sell out and I can sell them for $50-$100 markup. That'll pay for my games + some.

If they don't sell out, then I'll just cancel my pre-order. Everybody wins.
