Okay, Crackpot theory here.
What if all the sections of Kalos (Costal, Central, Mountain) are handled by different professors? This could easily explain Patrice, who was mentioned in the Pokebeach Leaks. Patrice would probably be the one handling the Kalos Starters.
Sycamore could be on Central Kalos, giving the Kanto Starters.
The Mountain Kalos Professor, if one exists, would probably have the Johto or Sinnoh Starters.
Like I said, this is just theory and speculation. This could double as one of those threads too I guess
