snorlax, heracross and azelf were all OU in gen IV.
bug fighting stab doesn't have that much coverage
azelf isn't more versatile than mew, who dropped from ubers to UU in gen V.
snorlax got shafted on STABs and by how many fast hard hitting fighting types there are in the game, but still he's underrated.
slaking was never good because you could play around truant. tauros is objectively worse than snorlax, so you're not gonna see his usage stats increase when compared to another hard hitting normal type. i don't know shit about medicham but i'm sure it's a fine sweeper that isn't chosen more often because muh coverage.
