Then the opponent switches them in and Charizard can't safely switch in against them on anything other than the opponent KOing one of your Pokemon.
Charizard can only safely come in at the start of the battle and after a KO, any other time it's at high risk of taking heavy damage from those it would force out.
And the longer the battle goes on the higher the chance that Stealth Rocks will emerge and complicate shit further.

T-Tar does KO it, but it can have a SASH unlike Charizard. Hippodown won't kill it, but it'll sink Charizard.
