Spycicle's one downfall is more than made up for by the silent kills, lack of killfeed appearance, and basically having two dead ringers against Pyros.
You shouldn't be suiciding over one pick anyway, even if it is a medic. A sniper could have done that and then shot the patient too.
Speaking of Sniper, there is basically no reason to use the stock sniper while the Machina exists.
