Ruby because I have a head canon where Ruby from the manga becomes a trainer after meeting Red and the others at the Battle Frontier and challenges all leagues that came after third generation.

I always name my character Ruby, so it's like my own fan fiction where Ruby travels all these regions as if it was the anime.

My favorite color is grey, so I do different names that are grey things or shades of grey.

Mercury, Grey, and Davy have been my last three.

I'm currently mulling over Jet, Cole, and Payne. Grisaille is unfortunately too long, and I'm unlikely to pick the girl anyway. I've looked at other metals, but they all sound kind of douchey for a name.

Any ideas?

I usually decide on a theme for naming all of my Pokemon at the beginning, and then name my trainer accordingly.

Eg. naming all my Pokemon after types of food, and calling my character Chef.
