Are there any animals out there that actually do something similar to Mega Evolution? The closest I can think of is those lizards that make themselves appear larger by folding out their frills, but I'm looking for a more literal example.

And if this seems like a stupid question, keep in mind that there are fish out there who change genders as they grow up, just like the Marill line.
