you need to download the Universal Pokemon Randomizer, pops up first thing on googz.

Basically there will be a section where you can choose what all 3 of the starters are. You want to make one of them the one you want and then the other 2 starters the same thing, otherwise he might choose something you didn't intend.

from there it's pretty simple. Just a warning, if you choose something like Gastly or Machop you should click the button at the top of the screen that says "remove trade evolutions". This will allow Gastly to evolve in game.

well, whatever it is I wouldn't choose like Blaziken or something because you're going to level up really fast and it's going to be boring.

I'm at Koga's gym and I'm already level 53.

Maybe try Horsea? And your rival gets Bagon? that could be a challenge.
