Okay I'll say it. I hope they don't reveal what the Kalos starters evolve into. It would be the first time to discover what they are in game. That sounds pretty magical to me.

Exactly. It's actually better to know the evolutions before hand so you aren't bamboozled when you evolve them for the first time. They revealed charizard and blastoise on the front covers, why not just let us know it's not like it's a detriment to the experience.

It would still make the game play better, more realistic. In the Pokemon world, most people don't know evolutions of their pokemon, only protagonist trainers with dexes know them. Unexpectedly getting a hideous evolution won't make me stop using a pokemon I'd liked up to then, I'd probably just get a better appreciation for it.

Uh no. The real definition is someone who prefers their gen 1 greatly over the rest. A genwunner would vastly prefer gen 1 even if they consider some good designs from other gens but overall they will say gen 1 had best designs music whatever. Meanwhile others like Hoenn babys consider their gen the best and everything else inferior.
