You look at Brendan and return his intensity replying with "Let's do this! The first of many battles." You call Cyndaquil over and he seems to know the deal already and flares his back up with some serious power while letting out an adorable cry.
You're taken aback that this little guy has that much in him. You bend down to pat his head and you say "Cyndaquil. Do you think you can do this?" It looks at you and flexes it's 'muscles' and flares up in the back.
You take that as a yes. Cyndaquil is totally different when he's getting ready to battle than any other time. He runs over and stands in front of Totodile and faces him up. Totodile and Brendan exude confidence but so do Cyndaquil and you. Professor Birch opens the back door "HEY YOU GUY'S ARE NOT GOING TO DO THIS IN MY LAB. TAKE IT TO THE BACK."
You all run outside quickly and take the same positions. The battle is about to start as soon as May says "Go".. The wind blows every trainer and their Pokemon are making fierce eye contact. May says "Go!!" in a shrill voice.
Brendan says "Alright Totodile let's see what you got use Tackle!"
