Is anyone else disappointed that mega evolutions likely means that a large majority of pokemon will be missing out on much needed evolutions?

Like Banette. He's getting one and yet he's pretty much an unfinished evo line. I love him, but now if you want him to be viable you'll have to use a mega evo shit and you can only have one a fucking team.

All I wanted was my Puppet Master evolution...
