I'm not particularly fond of any of the Kanto starters, I've restarted the game enough times to have played my fair share with all of them, but I still feel disappointed with Blastoise. He deserved better, but I'll get used to it.
Charizard's allright too, there's not much that they could've done with it.
Other than giving it dragon type.
