I can understand hacking in perfect Pokemon and using them as a parent. But actually using your generated Pokemon in battle is shameful. The only exceptions are legendaries, in which case you're a faggot for using legendaries in battle

It's gotten to the point where hacking really isn't necessary. You can have hardcore, perfect Pokemon battles on Showdown or PO. Gen 6 will be simulated within months of release.

So, you might as well just collect Pokemon and enjoy the game, and take it to a simulator if you absolutely have to have perfect pokemon for battles.

If you take pride in grinding out you perfect IVs and building a relationship with your Poke bros be proud of that and enjoy it. There's always going to be cheaters, lazy people, and casuals that want a short cut.

Maybe you're a college student and you have time to play through the main story and postgame, but not the time to spend hours for each Pokemon dicking around with IVs and shit so you can fight online. There's nothing fun about soft-resetting and going through multiple eggs for that shit, so why not expedite it?

Because the point of games is to put time and effort into them to get some sort of reward.
And the more time and effort you spend the more rewarding the end result will be. You are essentially robing yourself of fun.

And I don't buy the "poor college student has no time for gaming"-argument because you ultimately have to spend just as much time actually playing the game as anyone else.
A neet or something might be done with it a few days or weeks sooner but that doesn't mean anything since there is no time limit on when you can join online battles.

Because I really don't like luck bad time consuming mechanics like breeding. That's not fun at all, and shouldn't be acceptable in any modern game.
But whatever, battle sims are getting better so I'll probably just keep competitive battling there, and use that to determine which few mons to perfect instead of going through the hassle of breeding Pokemon who are destined to be shit.

Shit like IV breeding and EV training aren't the least bit fun, challenging, or rewarding. All you do is pray your Pokemon has the right IVs and ability when breeding, even when you have everything in your favor, and then spend 20 minutes actually EV training it on the same shit.

Because it takes no skill to breed a competitive 'mon, the best you can do is catch a bunch of ditto with 31 IV in at least one stat and breed good parents but then you are up to your luck(I think 1/200 for a perfect offspring with perfect parents but don't quote me on that) and I for one don't enjoy spending weeks breeding a poke

31 IVs in the two stats it needs, Beneficial natures and if you do it right it passes for the real thing. If anyone asks I'll admit to it being Pokegen'd but you're a faggot who'll throw a tantrum over it anyway.
