I used to nickname my Pokémon back in the day, and last week, I decided I didn't like them. I used my little brother's Action Replay to change the names back to their species names. Does this mean I wouldn't be able to bypass X & Y's fake checker? I did this at the name rater, but I used a cheat to allow renaming traded Pokémon. Would this leave missing trash bytes or something?
