So I found an incredibly high res version of this picture.

With the release of new screenshots with most of the revealed Gen 6 Pokemon icons, can anyone tell what this is?

Obviously, I'm talking about the icon that has been increased in size by 800% and place in the middle of the image.

Well seeing as I didn't create the thread, It didn't look too obvious to me

Looks like a fire type, obviously Nintendo is trolling. I'm more interested in why zigzagoon is in the pokedex, will we be seeing gen III pokes in the overworld as well as the new ones?

Maybe it will be like gen IV and we will have mixed region pokes

The pokemon in the pokedex has red on its ears, and part of the body is of a dark blue, Pidgey doesn't have that.

Assuming the colors can be ignored because of the fact that it's close to the edge (though it's a huge stretch), it does look like it could be a redone Pidgey.

Don't forget they're all being redone.

And on a sidenote, did you all also notice the icons are no longer animated? That saddens me but it doesn't really matter, I just liked it.

Not all, Zigzagoon's sprite is the same as before.

If anything I'd be inclined to say it's Spearow. But something no one really notices it's that the sprite seems to go over the black part of the dex, it's probably bigger than both a Spearow and Pidgey.

Zigzagoon's is different.

Spearow isn't even close...notice how with pidgey the white and brown parts match up. Meanwhile Spearow doesn't even have white.

My fault, it really is a different Zigzagoon.

However I still think it's not a pokemon we've seen before. Probably because I want to believe they've given us yet another easter egg hidden in these screens, they've been doing it a lot this gen. I'll just have to wait and see.

I'm individually testing each icon from gen 6 that we've seen, and it appears that you're right, not all are new. But like only a few aren't, all gen 5 so far. They've all been recolored though, which is expected because until now, every single icon shared only three palettes. This is why we had incorrectly colored Timburr, Terrakion, etc. I'll post the image I'm making soon, when I'm done. I'm also only using the images from PokeBank or whatever that's just been released, I figure that's a good enough testing sample.

I did, and I realise that, but still, at the moment it just seems like one of the more viable speculations.

Unless there's another poke with Fennekin's colour palette that's a dog looking thing.

I wouldn't be surprised though with that Llama poodle hat stole Absol's fur.
