I've never had a need for extra storage in the past, doubt I will in the future, and I've always done all my transferring between generations in bulk at once so I'll use the trial for that. For me personally there's no reason to pay for the bank.

Yeah honestly, I'm so glad we aren't forced to buy a second system or use someone else's if we can to trade Pokemon over now. $5/year or whatever is so much cheaper than another system, and I just don't have my parents to leech off of anymore.

You can restart your game how many times you want while keeping the previous pokémon in the bank. That's the only reason I will need it, not for the extra storage itself.

What if Pokémon Bank isn't tied to your 3DS but just needs an account instead? People could use the same account and split the cost. No one would deposit 3k 'mons anyway.

I gathered all Starters from Gens 1-5 in B/W.
I plan to mass breed them and give them out in mystery trades.

In fact, in B/W's live trading system I would offer up three eggs containing random starters and accept anything for them. It was like a lucky dip.
