Dragons are currently OP in the pokemon meta, using a mono team of dragons most of the time points towards a surefire win unless you have a perfect counter.

Disagree. Most Dragons' STABS aren't SE against anything. Might as well make a Normal mono team.

Ice types are problematic counters towards dragons because they can often learn a fire move. (This totally fucked my shit up with Glaceon in B/W.).

I'm glad for the fairy typing because it gives us a counter for dragons that gets STAB and doesn't totally suck.

100% truth. I've got to 2180 on showdown with ZERO losses, with a 6 Dragon team slapped literally in 5 minutes, before a bug lowered my rating by 300 points, even though I won. And it's not like I'm some pokemon champion - it's just that these dragon teams are so good.

Just because their STAB isn't super effective doesn't mean it isn't going to kill. Not much can live an outrage from something like a Garchomp especially with a band.

Thats part of how the ladder system on PS used to work, your rating would stale on your 15th game.

6 Dragon team wrecks the ladder (90% bad players), but gets massacred by any decent player.

It's the best type in the game, but Dragons aren't unstoppable. Kyurem-B being allowed in OU is a testament to that.

Right. But there aren't so many fast and strong normals, like it is with dragons. Though a mono normal team might actually work. CB Tauros, Scarf Staraptor, Scarf Porygon-Z maybe, Stoutland for sand teams...

Mach Punch would fuck that team pretty hard - at least mono dragon has Kingdra...and Kyurem

Yeah, they wouldn't. Except Ursaring doesn't have base 102 speed to outspeed stuff before he can get hit. Normal is a bit worse as a defensive typing than Ground/Dragon too while we're at it.

I've been able to rape mono dragon teams using only Machamp and Porygon2.

The problem is that faggots like you are so intimidated by a single type or pokemon that they don't even bother to learn how to play the game. They just rely on whatever is easiest or Smogon says and never learns how to anticipate or make adjustments.

even with 2x Speed he would fail to outspeed the Lati's and ANY Choice Scarfed Dragon, even an Altaria.

And no Sp. Att EVs would fail to even 2HKO Kyurem B who would just outright slaughter you.

Cloyster would be more effective, due to more defense, and his icicle spear will actually kill Kingdra.

Cloyster is the only Pokemon that is an instant 6-0 to all mono dragon teams, as long as he can get off an SS.
