How do you make time for pokemon, /vp/?

A lot of people here are in their older teens to 20s and probably have work and classes and such, so where does pokemon fit into your time now that you're older and can't just play vidya all day?

I work for 6-8 hour 4-5 days in a week. While at work I can pretty much do as I please as long as my job doesn't get neglected. So I ether watch anime or play Pokemon on my laptop to pass the time.

I did not play pokemon for a decade, I got hooked again with Pokemon because my niece was kicked out of her house by her mother (my sister) so she came to live with me and installed the roms in my pc.
Later I discovered Pokemon Showdown and now see Pokemon as a strategy game like chess or Go.

I work full time. I work 12 hours for 4 days, and then have 4 days free, so half of the month basically I have vacations, and the other half all I do is working and sleeping.

You cant expect to be able to play pokemon every day as an adult.

I then go to school for anywhere between 3-9 hours 4 days a week.
Finally, I go to my other job anywhere between 2-6 hours 2 days a week.

Filter in time for homework and misc. duties, and the answer is for about 5 minutes before I pass out.

I'm really upset at my current situation and I hope that it will lighten up by the time X&Y come out.

Even when I wasn't, it's not like Pokemon isn't the sort of game that completely absorbs all of your free time every day, like some MMOs. You might not be able to play video games ALL day anymore, but that hopefully doesn't mean you don't have any free time at all. Pokemon is a type of game where even if you have just half an hour or so you can make some progress and enjoy the game.

I work summers at a convenience store so I play pokemon during slow periods. Last few semesters I didn't have a car so I spent a lot of time playing pokemon in the library to kill time. We'll see how much time I can spare for Pokemon Y this year. I suspect my work may suffer a bit for the first week or 2.
