>>13690749I do. I just find it pathetic that people can't manage money effectively or have the patience to purchase a game on sale. I brought bare games on sale for the price of one.
People don't understand that they don't need to play every game when it first comes out.
If you're not interested enough in the game to purchase it and instead want to day 1 pirate it. Why couldn't you just simply wait for a sale. Or alternately if you weren't sure about a game why not play the demo or join the beta. This is how economics works. If there's low demand price falls and more people may be inclined to purchase it. As the new lower price now piques their interest.
Nothing is recorded with piracy. Developers become unsure on whether or not they made a good product or not. And such, small indie and good games are pirated and never purchased and shit games from big developers that sell millions will continue to sell shit games knowing it's a more reliable source. Meanwhile the innovative smaller developer goes out of business.
With that comes a viscous cycle where pirating creates a stale industry in which stale goods are produced. Where pirates then feel the justification to pirate goods as they are of 'poor quality'.
Prove to me that your not full of empty promises and take a picture of a torrent in you still have it and a physical copy of the same game/song/movie.
