I dunno, not really sure how people can rate ANY pokemon protag on anything other than looks. And in that regard, I'd have to give it to Micheal. Wes is cool and all, but every time I see him now I can't help thinking "Ow the edge". And anything Miror B. related is fucking amazing.

I'm talking about his design, I like his character just fine... what all character there is. Remember these guys have absolutely nothing going for them so we can project what we want onto them. So yeah, his design (hair, clothes, etc.) looks a bit edgy, pardon the buzzword.

Yes, that is because they're literally designed to have almost no character to them for the player. That's the entire point of a silent JRPG protag.

It was a refreshing change, and without it the game would have been a lot more boring. Overall: Fuck you and your JRPG cliches
