HONEST question here, is it weird that I'm over 19 and still enjoying pokemon..
I mean our generation grew up with it and it doesn't really seem to get old since it's always proving it can get way better... And I am by no means a geek.

Yes Gen 1 is one of the best gens, and I have absolutely no problem with what they're doing to the starters with mega stones, on the contrary I kinda enjoy pokemon always going out on a limb

Gen 5 isn't bad, could have been better in the design aspect but I like them and DON'T think they look like digimon. Although the legendaries look lame.
Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza master race.

This is my current team right now, proud of the legit shiny gyarados, don't mind charmeleon.

I can understand liking Gen 1 more than the rest of the gens. But the first 3 gens? No. Johto was a bad followup and had little to no pokemon. And Hoenn's pokemon were just well, unappealing.
