I watched the first episode and a few others after that when it first started getting big a few years ago.

I didn't think it was bad but it certainly wasn't good enough for me to watch regularly.

It's because /mlp/ are the only ones in the entire fanbase who remembers and cherish the work she did on the show while she was still working on it. The rest seems to have completely forgotten (or simply weren't there) that time and lap up all the worthless shit the show is about today. Of course, they'd still lick her ass if they had the chance, which that day also proved. Many who'd never visit /mlp/ normally came out of their holes, tripcodes in full force, just to try to get Lauren's attention.
