Did all the autists that min-max everything ruin the game for someone not interested in grinding EVs and catching 20 pokemon until I get the nature I want before grinding wild encounters @ 3% exp per battle to get to the level 50 or so needed to beat these faggots?

I'm actively TMing my team with strong movetypes against the respective Elite Four member, and I entered with 40 Hyper Potions, 20 Revives, 6 Max Revives, etc. I'm down to just Caitlin and down to 3 Revives, 12 Hyper Potions, 3 Max Revives, and her fucking Reuniclus has a hard counter that OHKs literally every effective team member I have. When I DO get off a Super Effective 2x Sword Dance X-Scissor? Only takes off 40-50% of its hp. Meanwhile ONE Focus Blast instantly kills half my team and when it doesn't she gets "lucky" crits twice in a row.
