Rock and water are bad weaknesses, yes, but psychic is not nearly as common and fighting, fire, ice, fairy, grass(1/4), bug(1/4), steel, poison and ground(immunity) resistances is GODLY.
Poison being SE against fairy now would just be the icing of the cake.

Show me one Pokemon with a tuft of fur that has an angled point like that.
Fur tufts always have smooth lines, like hair would. This has a fucking corner where the sting starts.

Beside the tail looking like a stinger, there's no other indication of this though. If the tail was a stinger, wouldn't the description the site maybe give a hint of it? It could change later or something, who knows.
