As for the second, I have to believe it's you that hasn't ever bred. If you Do have any 31 Ditto's, you should be able to get a 3 31 Result in a couple hours at absolute worst, assuming you aren't breeding for Genderless or or a DW Nature. Once you have had a Breeding project or two, Getting 4 31's shouldn't take more than a day or two.
Or Hell, just get a leftover from somebody else that has bred before you. It is meant to be a social game afterall.
The Argument to not remove them isn't the fact that casual's wouldn't care, I've already stated things like Niche builds, or Hidden Power. Yeah, if you wanted to simplify the game you could remove IV's, but there's a lot of depth that they do allow for, not every build needs to be 31's in everything, even if the most practical ones are.
