Got it for the Double Kick attack to counter Whitney. Never looked back.

Quite a lot actually, it's a good offensive mix of speed, attack and defense. Also, I like the design.

Yeah, used it in Gen 2, LG and got one again in HG. Still a BAMF.

Seriously, the Nidoran M family is just about the most useful family in Gen I. Earthquake is a powerful STAB move and when combined with Rock Slide they have a perfect neutral coverage. Nidoking also has a decent Sp Attack so it can effectively use BoltBeam combo or serve as a HM slave too with Surf and Strength while still being a useful fighter.

Probably some gay trainer around goldenrod city when I first played Pokemon Silver

Saw it in Pokemon Yellow as a kid. Because I couldn't into depth visualisation, I thought it was a really weird flat Pokemon.

Looking on it now, it has a pretty badass design, in-between the cuter first stage and awesome third stage. Reminds me of Charmeleon.

Poison Point. Especially in my Nuzlockes.

Not extensively, as it's a second-stage Pokemon. Come to think of it, second-stages never get enough love. It's first stages that everyone talks about catching Pokemon at, and third stages that everyone talks about battling with. Second stages like Nidorino need some love.
